Cancellation, Returns & Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to cancel or return an order, please read the policy below.
Cancellations & Returns
1. To cancel or return an order, please contact us as soon as possible on 0161 343 2060 or email info@coatedsteelproducts.co.uk, quoting your order number.
2. You may cancel your order and return items within 7 days of delivery. All goods must be returned in new, unused condition and in their original packaging, free from any damage including scratches, dents or deformation to the product or its coating.
3. Your right to cancel after the 7-day period will expire, unless the goods are faulty (see Faulty Goods below).
4. To exercise your right to cancel, contact us by phone on 0161 343 2060 or email info@coatedsteelproducts.co.uk. If you are cancelling due to a problem with the goods, please notify us of the issue at the time of cancellation.
5. Where you have received the goods, you must return them to us (with original packaging) within 7 days of cancellation. The cost of return delivery is at your expense unless the goods are faulty. Please contact us before returning any items so we can advise on the return process.
Refunds
6. Following cancellation, we will refund the price paid for the returned goods. Delivery charges are non-refundable. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method as your original order.
7. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund where returned goods show signs of damage, use or deterioration. We may withhold any refund until we have received and inspected the goods. A restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied.
Made-to-Order Products
8. Made-to-order products cannot be returned or cancelled. This includes all cut-to-length roofing sheets, wall cladding sheets, bespoke flashings, powder coated products, and any item manufactured to your specifications. These products are excluded from the right of cancellation as they are made to your individual requirements.
Faulty Goods
9. If goods are faulty or damaged on arrival, we will meet the cost of return delivery. Please allow us to arrange collection. If you notify us of a fault within 7 days of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Your right to return faulty goods is not limited to the 7-day cancellation period.
Collections & Trade Counter Purchases
10. Returns on goods collected from our premises or purchased at our trade counter are handled on a case-by-case basis. If accepted, goods must be returned in new condition and a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply. Made-to-order items cannot be returned.
